Eligibility

  • International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting Kenya is tourism, friends & family, business, conference, work, religious visit, and transit.
  • The passport should have at least 6 months of validity from the date of arrival in Kenya. The passport should have at least one (1) blank page for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

Non-Eligibility

  • Not available for Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders.
  • Not available for International Travel Document Holders.
  • Not available for some countries, please check the eligible ones at this link: Check Requirements.

Notes:

  • Children aged sixteen (16) and under are exempt from paying the government fee when applying for Kenya ETA.
  • The processing time is up to 3 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays.
  • Kenya eTA is available for single entry only. The validity of Kenya eTA is 3 months from the date of issue.
  • Kenya Single Entry eTA is non-extendable, non-convertible, and not valid for visiting protected/restricted and Cantonment Areas.
  • Citizens of the East African Partner States are exempted for six (6) months including Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
  • PRINT YOUR KENYA ETA IN COLOUR AND PRESENT IT AT THE AIRPORT OR POINT OF ENTRY ON ARRIVAL.
